Integer Acquires Aran Biomedical

Integer Holdings Corporation, a $1.2b device outsource manufacturer has acquired Ireland-based Aran Biomedical, a producer of proprietary medical textiles, high precision biomaterial coverings and coatings and advanced metal and polymer braiding for implantable devices.  Aran Biomedical enables Integer to penetrate high growth cardiovascular markets including structural heart, neurovascular, peripheral vascular and endovascular and also general surgery applications.  Deal terms – $130m upfront plus $10m in milestones on sales of $17m (7.7x).
