DePuy Synthes, the orthopedics and neurosurgery division of J&J, has acquired CrossRoads® Extremity Systems from its majority investor, Healthpoint Capital. The deal adds a portfolio of implants and instruments for lower-extremity procedures. In December 2021, DePuy Synthes acquired Israeli-based OrthoSpin, maker of an robotic orthopedic strut systems for external circular fixations . CrossRoads' EcoSMART instruments are reusable via sterile processing and reduce waste in the OR. Deal terms – $79.5m
